1 Killed and 4 Injured in Olympia Car Collision on Black Lake Boulevard SW
Olympia, Washington (April 16, 2018) – One person was killed, and four others injured in a head-on collision on Saturday night in Olympia, according to the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident occurred in the 5000 block of Black Lake Boulevard Southwest on Saturday, April 14.
Deputies said a vehicle was attempting to pass another car when it crossed a double yellow line and collided with another head-on.
The driver of the vehicle that crossed the yellow line died in the collision.
Four other people, two from each vehicle, were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
The names of the parties involved were not immediately released.
The deputies are investigating the crash.
