Christy Bell Injured in Dayton Pedestrian Crash on East Main Street
Dayton, Washington (April 16, 2018) – A 68-year-old woman was hit and injured by a vehicle early Sunday morning in Dayton, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The incident occurred at around 5:17 a.m. April 15 at East Main and Third streets.
WSP said Christy L. Bell, 68, of Dayton, was attempting to cross a street when she was hit by a westbound 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee, driven by Christina Lynch, 38, of Pomeroy.
Lynch was reportedly making a turn onto Third Street from Main Street when she hit Bell.
Bell was transported to Dayton General Hospital with unknown injuries.
Lynch was cited for failing to yield to a pedestrian.
