John McBride and Two Others Injured in Wapato Car Accident at Highway 97 and West Wapato Road
Wapato, Washington (March 14, 2018) – Three people were injured in a two-vehicle collision at an intersection in Wapato on Monday afternoon, according to a local news source.
The 3 p.m. incident occurred in the area of Highway 97 and West Wapato Road.
According to a report by the Washington State Patrol, John A. McBride, 43, of Lake Oswego was driving his 20014 Ford Escape when he allegedly ran a red light at the intersection and collided with a 2012 GMC Acadia driven by 34-year-old Narceaseus Fiander, 34, of Toppenish.
Both motorists and a passenger in the GMC identified as 5-year-old Atttakis I. Fiander were injured in the crash and were taken to Virginia Mason Memorial Hospital in Yakima.
The troopers said that the three were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.
The authorities said that charges are pending.
