Oregon Woman Mary Rosenbloom Killed in Clark County Plane Crash in La Center
Clark County, Washington (March 12, 2018) – The Oregon woman who was killed when a small plane crashed on Sunday afternoon in Clark County has been identified by the authorities.
The crash happened at around 1 p.m. Sunday, March 11, in a wooded area in the 4100 block of J. A. Moore Road in La Center.
The Clark County Sheriff’s Office and the fire department responded to the crash and found the plane with significant damage.
Officials said the Piper Super Cub aircraft was scheduled to stop at Daybreak Field and the pilot was traveling with another pilot who was in another aircraft.
The victim, identified as Mary Rosenbloom, 65, of Canby, Oregon, was pronounced deceased at the scene. She was the sole occupant of the plane at the time of the crash.
The Federal Aviation Authority is conducting an investigation to establish the cause of the crash.
