Richland Gales and Emmanuel Gales among 4 Injured in Vancouver Crash on Interstate 14
Vancouver, Washington (May 29, 2018) – Four people were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle crash on Sunday evening near Vancouver.
According to the Washington State Patrol, three vehicles were involved in the wreck that took place shortly after 5:30 p.m. May 27 on Highway 14 at the Columbia Shores exit, just east of Vancouver.
WSP said David A. Fabyanchuk, 18, of Battle Ground, was driving a yellow BMW Coupe at a high rate of speed when he crashed into the rear of a second vehicle, and the impact pushed the vehicle into a third.
The driver of one of the victim vehicles, Richard A. Gales, 59, of Vancouver and his passenger, Emmanuel Gales, 20, were injured in the crash.
The other driver, Milissa S. Ormiston, 51, of Vancouver and a passenger in the BMW, Daniel Belash, 19, of Vancouver, were also hurt.
The four were transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center.
WSP said Fabyanchuk was taken into custody on suspicion of vehicular assault and felony hit-and-run.
